You can't buy my conscience, man who rejects $10,000 bribe tells APC in Kebbi

A former chieftain of the ruling All progressives congress (APC), Alhaji Faruku Udulu has rejected an offer of ten thousand US dollars to rejoin APC in Kebbi state.

Udu said he rejected the offer because the ruling party wants to buy his conscience with money after he has served the party for many years without anything in return for him and his community "I have been a loyal member of the ruling party in Kebbi, I and my followers were instrumental to the success of the party but we were relegated to the background why should they think I lack the integrity to collect the money to influence my return to the party.

He noted that prominent figures left the party due to lack of internal democracy people like Senator Adamu Aliero who is without doubt the arrowhead of Kebbi politics, the former senate leader Dr Yahya Abdullahi and thier huge followers all dumped the party because it has been hijacked by some few people.

He gave those who brought the money to his house two days ultimatum to come collect the money or he will mention their names and the motive behind the offer, he said it took the intervention of Senator Aliero and his mother who prevailed on him not expose the names of the three people who brought the money.
