Militant groups across the country have threatened to resist the inauguration of the President-Elect, Senator Bola Tinubu, on May 29.
The Coalition of Niger Delta Strike Force Militant Group, Coalition for the Liberation of Eastern Region, Movement for the Emancipation of Middle Belt, and the Supreme Islamic Militant Force for Equal Rights took the resolution on Tuesday night.
They codenamed the mission, “Operation Rescue Nigeria from Collapse before May 29”.
The coalition leaders are self-styled General Adaka Adowei, aka River - Coalition of Niger Delta Dreaded Strike Force Militant Group; and Mazi Okorafor, aka Red Scorpion, Convener/General Officer Command/Chief Priest, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPoB - Coalition of Eastern Region Liberation Force.
Others are Comrade Ukpor Asemota, aka, The Risen Sun - Movement for the Emancipation of Middle Belt Region; and Hassan Yusuf Jnr, aka Alah Chine-Ubangidi - Supreme Islamic Militant Force for Equal Rights.
