    Rivers: Tinubu leads Obi with 42,623 votes in 11 LGAs announced so far

    The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu leads closest rival, Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) with 42,623 votes in 11 Local Government Area results released so far for the 2023 presidential elections in Rivers state.

    In the results being announced, since Sunday, by various LGA Collation officers, Tinubu leaders with a total of 92023 votes as Obi trails with 49400 votes while third placed Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had polled 34627 votes so far.

    State Collation Officer, for Rivers State, Prof Charles Adias, called for a break at the time of filing this report, awaiting the 12 remaining LGAs to present their results.

    Tinubu leads currently in 9 LGAs while Obi came top in two.
