    Atiku's campaign DG in Rivers escapes assassination, campaign venue set ablaze






    The Director-General the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers State, Chief Abiye Sekibo on Friday escapes assassination.


    Sekibo, former Minister of Transportation, was attacked while going to the venue for Atiku's campaign in the state.


    The venue approved for the campaign of the PDP in the state was also reportedly set ablaze by the suspected political thugs.


    Sekibo, however, escaped the assassination attempt on him with his SUV vehicle riddled with bullets.
