The new Oloja Ekun of Igbesa, Oba Abdul Azeez Oluwatoyin Akinde, Ado-Odo/Ota, Ogun State, has called on well meaning indigenes of the land to join hands with him to give the community the most benevolent leadership.

The monarch disclosed this while receiving the staff and instrument of office from the State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Afuape, at his coronation ceremony held in the town.

The Oba urged the indigenes and residents of the community to give him the leadership support in steering the affairs of the town for the social-economic development so as to lead the community to a greater height.

The king, while saying that the health, job, and the businesses of his people matter to him, advocated for a peaceful coexistence among the members of the community in order to set the pace that would be difficult to erase for the town in the future.

He, therefore, called on companies in his domain to perform their Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) to the people while appealing to government and security operatives in the state to partner with the community in the security of lives and properties of his people.

"We give God the glory for making today a historic day in the lives of Igbesaland and my humble self.

My sincere appreciation goes to the good people of Igbesa kingdom for their encouragement and support particularly our chiefs and elders i am soliciting for your continued support and cooperation to give Igbesa kingdom the most benevolent leadership that it deserve let us jointly set a pace that will be difficult to erase in the future" the monarch said
