“While alive, “Ijaya” as she was fondly called, exuded humility, loyalty and responsibility to the party and her constituents.

“She was a commendable and recommendable politician that served as a beacon of hope not only to female party members but also to the entirety of the party.

“She was a good ambassador who represented not only her federal

“It saddens my heart that Ijaya, as she was fondly called, would succumb to death at a time when her expertise, experience, and service are still needed at her constituency, Ogun State and the National Assembly.

"A two-term lawmaker, and deputy chief whip of the 10th House of Representatives, Ijaya demonstrated passion and performance in her legislative functions.

While commiserating with the entire Onanuga family, the people of Remoland and Ogun State, the APC family, and her colleagues at the House of Representatives, Amosun enjoined them to take solace in the fact that Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga lived an eventful life and left behind enduring legacies.
