The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has expressed preparedness to go into alliance with other progressives across party lines, to build a Nigeria citizens will be proud of.
National Chairman of the party, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, re-echoed this sentiment, which was earlier expressed by the party’s National Leader and Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, in Abuja, yesterday.
Ezeokenwa explined that with the leadership tussle now dispensed with, following the Supreme Court judgement affirming his chairmanship, APGA was now better positioned to take its pride of place in Nigeria’s political firmament.
He said, “APGA proudly has elected representatives within and outside the South East. We are ready and willing to work with all other progressives to build Nigeria because we believe in our country.
“As part of our commitment to reconciliation, we have granted amnesty to party members who are genuinely repentant irrespective of which side they supported while the crisis lasted.
“Like our national leader, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, said during the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, we are grateful to President Bola Tinubu for appointing Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu into his cabinet as minister.”
Ezeokenwa also expressed the party’s gratitude to governor Soludo for providing leadership both at party level and in Amambra State where his policies and programmes are showing to the world how leadership can bring value to society.
