Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday met with former Military leaders, Generals Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar and National Security Advisor,Aliyu Gusau in Minna, Niger state.
It was reliably gathered that the closed door meeting held in the hill top residence of former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, former Military head of state, General Abdulsalami Abubakar and former National Security Adviser, (NSA) General Aliyu Gusau.
It was gathered that the meeting kicked started with Generals Babangida, Abdulsalami and Gusau.
Chief Obasanjo it was gathered later joined the trio at General Babangida's house at about 4:30 pm and later left the uphill around 6:30 pm.
The purpose and outcome of the meeting was not known, but sources said it was not unconnected with pressing national issues including insecurity and economic situation affecting the country.
Chief Obasanjo it was gathered flew in from Benin City after attending the 90th birthday of the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion.
