Amid controversy that trailed Kano Emirate tussle, the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero on Friday made his first trip out of Kano to Abuja.
Recall that Bayero was dethroned by the Governor Abba Yusuf while away out of the state and the palace and was replaced with the reinstatement of the 16th Emir, Muhammadu Sanusi II who was immediately moved to the Kofar Kudu palace.
Bayero's trip was however coming about three months after he returned to the state and sit tight in the Nassarawa mini palace.
Sources close to the Emirate said Bayero was out of the state on a private visit while others said the visit was official visit to attend the traditional leaders meeting in Abuja.
Bayero was said to be accompanied in a convoy to the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, MAKIA where he departed for Abuja.
The heavy security presence around the Nassarawa mini palace where Bayero occupied remains on stand by in the area.
Meanwhile, the 16th Emir, Sanusi II was said to have also traveled abroad where he defended his PhD thesis and leaving Kano without a sitting Emir.
Recall also that the Emirship tussle case is before the court of law to put an end to the dispute.
