Operatives of the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, NHFSS, in Osun State have arrested two teenagers for allegedly stealing electricity cable.
The teenagers identified as Akeem and Babarinde both 19 years old claimed to be apprentices of fashion designing and shoe cobbling in Ede.
They claimed that they resorted to stealing after their motorcycle with which they earn livelihood was stolen from them.
They were handed to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in the state after they were caught along Akoda/Arola way stealing the cables.
Confirming the incident, NSCDC spokesperson in Osun State, Kehinde Adeleke said the suspects are in their custody undergoing interrogation.
She added that the duo will be arraigned in court this week to serve as deterrent to others nursing similar ambition.
