    Lagos residents caught dumping waste into rainwater






    As heavy downpour continues in Lagos State on Wednesday, some residents have taken to dumping their waste into the rainwater.

    This was seen while conducting a random check on social media.

    A man and a woman were seen at the entrance of a black gate located at No. 2 Akewukewe Street, beside Ikate Local Government in Ijesha Surulere, dumping a blue drum of waste into the water.

    An X user with the username @adetutuadeoye3 posted, “These people just poured out their waste into the street water. This is No. 2 Akewukewe Street, beside Ikate Local Government in Ijesha Surulere.”
