Ogun Assembly Minority Leader, Adeleye donates 500kva transformer to community

The joy of indigenes of residents of
Odo Jobore in Odogbolu local government area of Ogun State on Thursday knew no bound, as the Minority Leader of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon Lukmon Adeleye donated a 500kva transformer to the community. 


Adeleye while handing over the transformer to the community, promised that the community would be connected to the national grid before Ileya festival. 

Adeleye said, though it was painstaking to put together the money to buy the new transformer, but he is fulfilled as he has again kept one of the promises he made during the electioneering period. 

He said, with electricity, the people can easily carry on their businesses, earn a living and positively contribute to the economy of the nation. 

Adeleye who acknowledged the input of Chief Oladipupo Adebutu and the Oba-elect of Odo Jobore, Prince Olalekan Odubanjo thanked the duo for their support at joining him to make the donation a reality. 

The Chief Imam of Odo Jobore, Alhaji Ogunbowale Ayodele explained that the community has been in darkness for eight months and this had greatly affected the whole community, in all spheres of life.

He thanked Adeleye for the donation and his passion to develop his constituency, stressing that he has distinguished himself as a new breed politician who sticks to his words. 

Other residents of Odo Jobore especially women were full of joy as they danced round the community.
