The General Manager, Cooperate Affairs of National Inland Waterways Authority, (NIWA) Alhaji Jibril Dardau, on Friday slumped and died in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.
A family source said that Dardau died shortly after leading an early morning Prayer at the mosque .
“He slumped in his sitting-room this morning. He had been managing High Blood Pressure, BP for sometimes now.”
“He lost his most senior wife last year”, said the source who craved anonymity.
The deceased was buried after Friday Juma’at prayer at Unguwan Power graveyard in Lokoja, amidst tears.
