A Socialite and a business man, in Ondo State, Sesan Adelabu, has reportedly committed suicide after killing his wife in Akure, the state capital.
Details of the incident remained sketchy but an unconfirmed sources alleged that the socialite caught his wife in bed with one of his security guards.
The victim, reportedly macheted his wife to death and thereafter committed suicide by drinking sniper, an insecticide.
It was gathered that the ugly incident occured at his Alagbaka GRA, in Akure metropolis.
His wife's lifeless body was left on their matrimonial bed while the socialite died inside his toilet after drinking the insecticide.
Adelabu, according to sources has a chain of business investments including Petrol stations in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Their corpses have been deposited at the Akure General hospital.
Contacted, the state police spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami, confirmed the incident.
Odunlami said that the socialite murdered the wife and thereafter committed suicide by drinking sniper.
The police spokesperson added that police detectives have started their investigation on the matter.
