Our monarch never involve in fracas with youths - Onigbedu Council of Chiefs

The Onigbedu Council of Chiefs has 
debunked the rumour making round the social media that the Onigbedu of Gbedu Kingdom in Ewekoro local government area of Ogun State, Oba Mathew Ajibulu, engaged in fracas with some youths of the community.

The Council, in a statement signed by Chief Fatai Akinlawon and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, described the publication as false, meant to tarnish the image of Oba Ajibulu.

It would be recalled that a news medium has reported that the traditional ruler engaged some youth in the community in an open fight over land matters.

Chief Akinlawon added that the publication was the handiwork of some land grabbers who are hell bent on destroying the peaceful coexistence in the community.

“It has come to our notice that some bloggers, who are hungry and want to feed their stomachs, promote falsehood, without carrying out necessary investigation on what is going on in the community.

 we heard it in a statement that some monarch which they can’t mentioned, because they were not sure maybe it was true.

“Truly there is some misunderstanding among the king and youth who is the father of all in the community. Our loving king treats all indigenes equally and promotes love, unity and peaceful coexistence among all inhabitants of Onigbedu.

“Onigbedu youth and the king never fought on issues of land.

The reign of Oba Ajibulu has brought unprecedented development to Gbedu community.

“We are using this medium to tell all all sons and daughters of Gbedu, especially the youths to stand with our revered father, for the continued development of our community.

“Our kings is not a land grabber, he is a loving king that always listen to the youth.
