    Seven killed, three injured in Osun lone accident





    No fewer than seven persons lost their lives in a ghastly lone accident along Osogbo-Gbongan express road.

    According to Osun Sector Commandant, Federal Road Safety Commission, Henry Benemaisia, the accident occurred late Friday evening few kilometers from Sasa bridge.

    He said the lone accident, which occurred around Ogidi village, involved a Nissan Sharon with registration number WWD574AE conveying ten passengers.

    He added that three children were among the seven dead victims while three others were injured.

    According to him, the incident was due to speed limit violation and lost of control, urging motorists to drive carefully to avoid unnecessary lost of lives.

    He said, "Four of the dead victims were taken to Uniosun teaching hospital, three other bodies were taken to Ode-Omu along with the injured victims".
