A 200L student of Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Solomon Emmanuel Destiny has been missing.
It was gathered that Solomon got missing on Thursday.
Confirming the unfortunate incident, Ogun State police command on Sunday, asked members of the public to help with useful information that could help to find the young man .
The spokesperson of the command, SP Omolola Odutola, who disclosed this while reacting to the news of the missing students circulating in the social media, said "the person above has been declared missing. Kindly assist the Ogun Police Command to disseminate information till he is found. Thank you for all your kind help".
The leadership of the Students' Union Government of the University in a statement circulating on the social media said "Solomon Emmanuel Destiny, a 200L student of Animal Breeding and Genetics was last seen on Thursday at Ogboja village, Oluwo-Osiele axis of Abeokuta. If you have any details of his whereabouts that could be useful to finding him, pls call any of these numbers; 09065784826, 09027215090 or 07065800660".
The Head of Directorate of Public Relations, of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Mr Kola Adepoju while confirming the incident said "yes our student is missing and our University Management has swung into action by reporting the development to relevant security agencies.We want to assure the parents or guardians of our student that is missing, ditto his colleagues and the public, in general that the University and security agencies are doing the needful to find him and bring him back to his parents and colleagues safely".
