    Cultists allegedly kill one in Ilorin





    Preparatory to the annual 7/7 anniversary of the confraternities
    one person, identified as Abdullahi, was killed in Ilorin, Kwara state capital in a cultists attack on Wednesday.

    The incident occurred at Ile-Kewu, Oke-Apomu quarters of Ilorin metropolis  at about 9 pm. 

    It was reliably gathered that, the cultists had targeted the elder brother of the deceased, Ibrahim, but met Abdullahi, the younger brother and shot him dead. 

    There was confusion in the area as a result of the bloody attack by the cultists invasion. 

    The deceased was reportedly buried on Thursday morning at the Muslim cemetery in Ilorin off Asa Dam road. 

    Contacted  on Thursday, spokesman of the state police command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, said "the command has no report of the incident. 

    "The DPO of 'C' Division that covers the area reported no such  incident in the area please," he added.
