    Just in: Makinde appoints Tribune man, Olanrewaju as CPS, retains Ogunwuyi as CoS





    As his second term administration took off on Monday, Governor Makinde of Oyo State has appointed the Business Editor of Nigeria Tribune, Sulaiman Olanrewaju as his new Chief Press Secretary, CPS.

    The governor, equally, reappointed Segun Ogunwuyi as his Chief of Staff.

    He made the announcements shortly after adopting and signing the report of the Ogunwuyi-led transition committee.

    Makinde, however, still remained silent on the highly anticipated appointment of his Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

    According to the governor, his new CPS was absent from the event because he was unaware of his own appointment, adding that his decision to appoint Olanrewaju was borne  of out due diligence he privately carried out on him.
