    Governor Badaru orders the arrest of APC chairman





    The governor of Jigawa State, Abubakar Badaru, has been accused of awarding contracts indiscriminately by the state APC chairman, Habibu Sara and one other chieftain of the party,  Habu Jahun.

    The duo were subsequently expelled from the party and arrested and detained by the police after the allegation. 

    The police in the state confirmed the arrest and detainment of the 2 APC chieftain, adding that they acted after a written petitions by the governor's special aide on media content, Habibi Ringim.
