    Sudan war: Nigerian students abandoned, cry of hunger, as buses run out of fuel






    Some Nigerian students who took the first buses from Khartoum to Aswan in war  torn Sudan, have cried of hunger and were abandoned as the buses conveying them stopped mid way due to shortage of fuel. 

    "Our vehicles have stopped on the way.We 've been here stranded. Among us were nursing mothers.They said they would drop us here.The Vehicles ran out of fuel. We've not eaten since yesterday , " a female Nigerian student had alleged. 

    The shaky cease fire between the 2 warring factions, according to a BBC Hausa report, was expected to end today. 

    Over 5000 Nigerian students in the country were expected to be conveyed  in  buses from.war ravaged Khartoum to relatively safer locations, for onward flight to Nigeria.
