    Lagos Police Arrest Cable Vandals, Seize Stolen Equipment in Raid





    Five suspects have been arrested by the operatives of Alausa Division of the Lagos State Police Command for vandalizing Lagos State Electricity Board cables mounted around 7-Up Bottling Company in the Alausa area of Lagos State. 


    The suspects, Ukah Gabriel (29), Emmanuel Ajikula (29), Athanisus Lornumbe (28), Titus Akuha (18), and Felix Lornumbe (27), were apprehended in the act on Monday, April 24, 2023, following credible intelligence on the suspicious movement of some hoodlums in the area. The police recovered tools and vandalized cables from the suspects.

    The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution.

    SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police spokesman, made this known on his official Twitter handle earlier today.
