.....says he remains icon of progressive democracy

The founder of Obaruwa Foundation and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Odogbolu Local Government area of Ogun State, Prince Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola has felicitated with the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu describing him as an Icon of progressive democracy who deserves all the accolades as he turns 71.
Prince Ayoola, in a congratulatory message, issued on the 71st birthday of
the former governor of Lagos State, disclosed that the birthday of Asiwaju Tinubu was no doubt an occasion to celebrate the democrat for his invaluable contributions to the entrenchment of democracy, which included risking his life during the military reign to ensure the country is returned to civil rule.
Ayoola added, "from his NADECO's days when he was among the vanguard of the patriots that fought the military reluctance to allow for reign of democracy till May 1999, when he became the Executive Governor of Lagos State and served meritoriously for eight years, Asiwaju Tinubu has irrevocably committed to the entrenchment of good governance and our growing democracy".
"He is a born natural leader and political strategist of the highest order. His kind of politics revolves around building people and profound legacies and that is why Lagos has continually excel at all fronts".
"Here is a man who nurtures a political party from the corner of Lagos, captured the Southwest and later formed alliance to form All Progressives Congress (APC) which defeated PDP in 2015 and by the grace of God and support of Nigerians saw to his election as the next President of our great country".
"Tinubu has indeed paid his due and his election as the successor to President Muhammadu Buhari is the climax of his love and sacrifices for a more prosperous Nigeria. There's no doubt that better days are ahead under his presidency as he remains comitted to pursuing the renewed hope agenda".
