Police recovers Toyota EOD stolen from Katsina State in Benue





Police operatives have recovered a Toyota Corolla vehicle (EOD), with registration number 'SKK 98 ZY', stolen from Katsina State capital in Makurdi Benue State.

The spokesman Katsina Police Command, SP Gambo Isah, said the vehicle was snatched at gunpoint from its owner, Abdullahi Sani at Kofar Marusa Quarters, within the state capital.

SP Gambo further disclosed that the suspect Muhammed Abdulrahaman, alias 'LALO', a member of the Abba Kala confessed that he sold the EOD Toyota Corolla vehicle valued at N2.8 million naira for the paltry sum of N350,000 before it was resold to another buyer at the cost of N1.5 million in Makurdi, Benue State.

Similarly, SP Gambo said:
"Based on credible intelligence, the Command succeeded in recovering a suspected stolen motor vehicle, Canter, Mitsubishi motor vehicle, white in colour, with registration number SKK 98 ZY, abandoned at Shinkafi Quarters, Katsina.

"The Command wishes to inform the owner to come forward with relevant documents and claim ownership as investigation is ongoing, please."
