Oluseun JOSHUA, Abeokuta

The convener of Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA), Mr Armstrong 'Tope Akintunde has pledged that the support group would leave no stone unturned to ensure a landslide victory for the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) during next year's election, saying that the target is to deliver at least 10,000 votes per each of the 20 local government areas of the state.

Mr Armstrong Akintunde while addressing over 5,000 coordinators of the group in the state at Iperu over the weekend disclosed that Governor Dapo Abiodun has done fantastically well in the sectors of the economy such that his re-election was already becoming a walk over.

Armstrong said "DACA is established to give solid back up for our great party APC, and just recently, the national secretariat of our party gave us recognition as one of the party's support groups".

"Obviously, we are out to ensure that Governor Dapo Abiodun is returned to continue his good works. From Ogun East to Ogun West and Central, the infrastructural development is commendable and you really don't disband a winning team".

"So, we are on ground to mobilise at least 200,000 votes for the return of Governor Abiodun and of course all party's candidates, including our father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our next president by the grace of God".

"To get this job done, Armstrong said the support group has over 10,000 Coordinators from the state to the local government, provided campaign materials such as branded shirts and caps in their
thousands, with several cartons of noodles, spaghetti among other goodies and logistics to ensure an hitch free operation".

After distributing the campaign materials to the Coordinators at the programme, Armstrong urged them to go back to their various local governments and wards and begin to mobilise for the success of the party as 2023 general elections inch closer.

Speaking at the programme, the APC State Assistant Legal Adviser, Hon. Isiaka Ojuroye lauded Armstrong for his committed interest and huge investment in the success of the party as far 2023 elections is concerned pleading with the coordinators of the group to double up efforts to return Governor Abiodun for another term, while also ensuring victory for other candidates of the party including Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party's presidential candidate.
