As Nigeria prepares for the 2023 general elections, the National Rescue Movement (NRM) has declared that it is ready to spring surprises Ogun State, saying that it will take over reign of governance from Governor Dapo Abiodun led APC government in the state.

The NRM Chairman in Ogun State, Prince Alli Adeyemi, who made the plea on Friday while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta, called on party faithful in the state to embrace peace.

Adeyemi appealed to all members of the party in the state to remain resolute and work as a team to ensure that all NRM candidates emerged victorious in all the elective positions in 2023.

He said that the National leadership of the party under the able leadership of Amb. Issac Chigozie Udeh has affirmed his Chairmanship position, assuring that his executive is determined to take NRM to winning ways during the election.

Adeyemi called on all candidates of the Party at all levels and members under the platform of NRM as well as other stakeholders to close ranks for success during the poll.

“While reiterating that the NRM remain committed to its ideals, we commend Our governorship and other party candidates for their mature politicising.

“I am extending olive branch to all and with best assurances that we will be fair to all and ensure that our Party remains a force to be reckoned with.

Adeyemi called on all party members in other factions to embrace peace and avail themselves of internal conflict resolution mechanisms.

He assured such people that all complaints would be adequately attended to.

“We have resolved to win the election in Ogun State. The NRM in Ogun remains one united family under my able leadership.

Prince Adeyemi appealed to those fomenting trouble in the state chapter of the party to desist from such acts.

“We shall be prepared to enforce all disciplinary processes to smoke them out.
