……Lagos Education Commissioner and Hon. Femi Saheed grace event as Guest of Honour

In its strategic bid to educate, orientate and support parenting in an evolving society, Executive Council of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Caleb International College, Magodo, Lagos, under the auspices of Reverend Alexander Faranpoju, will on Saturday June 11 2022 by 10:00am, hold a Parenting Seminar titled "The Role of Parents in Children Education in an Evolving World", at the Dola Hall of the School.
The event will attract eminent personalities including the Honourable Commissioner of Education Lagos State, Hon. (Mrs) Folashade Adefisayo as Guest of Honour.
Others are the Guest Speaker Rev. (Mrs) Funke Felix-Adejumo; Hon.Femi Saheed, a Honourable member of the the Lagos State House of Assembly, among others.
According to Rev. Faranpoju, "as parenting in this dispensation tries to adjust itself to current realities of an evolving society, the PTA Executive Council of our beloved Caleb International College Magodo, decided to package a one-day enlightening Seminar to help parents bridge the gaps in parenting and foster desirable outcomes regarding parents’ crucial roles as they relate to their child's education and moral needs."
The 2010 Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA), which clearly identifies parent education as a core prevention service, equally recommends Parenting Seminar to help parents learn more about what to expect in the coming years and prepare for each developmental stage. Apart from that, confident, decisive parents tend to raise confident, secure children, as parenting classes offers a much-needed skill set to decrease your anxiety, among others.
