The Olofin-Adimula of Ado-Odo Kingdom, in Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Lateef Adeniran Akanni, Ojikutujoye Obaarun Oladeikan 1 is dead.
It was gathered that Oba Adeniran, died in the early hours of Friday, after a brief illness at Federal Medical Center FMC Idi Aba Abeokuta the Ogun State capital.
While reacting to the death, Prince Adegbola in a statement described the death as a great blow to the community at this nascent period of recovery in the history as a people battling to entrench unity in their diversity.
The statement reads "It is with a heavy heart and in total submission to the will of the Almighty that I commiserate with the Olofin in Council, the immediate family of His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Lateef Adeniran Akanni, Ojikutujoye Obaarun Oladeikan 1, and the entire people of Ado-Odo kingdom on the transition of the Olofin Adimula of Ado-Odo kingdom to the world beyond to join his ancestors."
"This is a great blow to us at this nascent period of recovery in our history as a people battling to entrench unity in our diversity. I hope that we can all put the past behind us and work towards the progress of Ado-Odo collectively."
