Confirmation  of appointment and compulsory Public Service examination are important for every civil servant, as it is essential to their career progression in the civil service.

Alhaja Ottun said the candidates in various cadres would be tested on public Service Rules, Financial Administration, Use of English, Local Legislation, Principle of Common Law and others, noting that it is pertinent for every civil servant in the workforce to pass the examination.

"The examination is critical to the State civil service, as it cuts across all cadres and it is a priority policy of the Ogun State government to ensure efficient and productive civil service”, she said.

The Head of Service expressed satisfaction with the conduct and general arrangement of the examination, candidates’ comportment and the adherence to COVID-19 protocols, commending the Bureau of Establishments and Training for ensuring a hitch-free and result-oriented examination.

Speaking on behalf of other candidates, Mr. Temidayo Onifade of the State Traffic Enforcement Agency and Barr. Elizabeth Olatunbosun of the Ministry of Justice, noted that the conduct of the examination was impressive, as it has helped in refreshing their memories on some of the rules guiding the public service.
